Services

The goal of speech therapy is to address your child’s difficulties with communication. This may be speaking clearly, understanding what others are saying or formulating sentences that make sense. If you are unsure if your child needs speech therapy, please call and have a chat.

This practice operates Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am - 5pm and is clinic based. I do not offer home or school-based therapy.

Pricing (2025) - Initial incl report $350.00

- subsequent 30 minutes $85.00

Speech

Your child may be having difficulties with speech if:

-their speech is difficult to understand

-they have difficulty saying certain sounds

-they are saying the wrong sounds in words

language.png

Language

Your child may need assistance to develop their language skills if they;

-have difficulty following instructions

-are late talkers (first word after 18 months)

-have difficulty making sentences 

-are using incorrect words or not being able to name things

-have difficulty asking and answering questions

Pragmatics

Pragmatics are the way we use social skills to communicate successfully. This can include;

-taking turns in conversation

-making eye contact

-knowing how to keep to topic.

This practice does not provide therapy for stuttering, or for specific literacy difficulties
